After the success of its inaugural Sustainable Design and Construction Forum in September in 2010, velta has committed to making its Forum a key industry event on the UK calendar.
Its second Sustainable Design and Construction Forum was held in association with Hanson Building Products, Stuarts Industrial Flooring and Creagh Concrete at Lord's cricket ground in London in March 2011.
It will be held on a bi-annual basis and will be dedicated to professionals in the commercial, residential and industrial buildings market. The Forum will become a meeting point for industry leading experts, specialists, government bodies, partnerships and associations.
The main aim of the event is to provide building owners, managers, architects, contractors, consultants and M&E engineers with the latest knowledge in the development of TABS (Thermo Active Building Systems), including renovation solutions for the cooling and heating of offices.
Speakers from well known international organisations such as Dr. Rennie Chadwick from VINCI Construction, Professor Doug King of King Shaw Associates, David Firth of Sir Robert McAlpine and Professor Bjarne Olesen from the University of Denmark have addressed the audience at previous velta Forums.
